Project Overview
In June 2019, S-Bank Agile Home hosted a groundbreaking lab facilitated by Anastasia Totok, focusing on the intersection of technology and human values.
Over a half-day session, 16 participants, including technology experts and humanists, explored the psychological impact of AI on individuals.
Through group facilitation, brainstorming, and body-based practices, the Lab addressed critical questions about technology’s role in our lives, aiming to harmonize technological advancements with human well-being and ecological sustainability.

SPT 4D Mapping Insights
The analysis involves the facilitation of the SPT 4D mapping process, where seven roles are considered: Human, Technology, Algorithm, Feelings, Earth, Evolution (the embodiment of maximum potential), and Fear (the marginal, often ignored aspect). Participants express their feelings and experiences within the model, transitioning from initial states to final states, guided by their roles.
Observers then share insights, highlighting shifts and potentials within the system.
Insights:
1. Without the Human, Feelings and Evolution are profoundly affected, showing how human actions influence both personal emotions and broader evolutionary paths.
2. The Human's emotional response reflects a clear understanding of their impact on the Earth, highlighting the need for environmental awareness and responsible stewardship of the planet.
3. The departure of the Human from the system raises questions about their influence and involvement.
4. The Algorithm is perceived as transcendent, governing not just Technology but all living entities.
5. Evolution triggers consciousness in Humans through interaction with Feelings.
6. The Algorithm establishes unseen rules within the simulation, shaping participant experiences.
7. The enigmatic nature of the Algorithm underscores its unknown influence.
8. Skepticism arises regarding the idyllic outcome, suggesting oversight of the Algorithm's overarching control.

I felt the urge to step back and observe from a distance. In the second phase, there was intense pain from realizing mistakes and the harm caused, leading to a feeling of helplessness. Connecting with the Earth brought slow but eventual calmness and relief. When I, as a Human, was with the Earth, Evolution felt harmonious, its presence becoming supportive.

Я держусь на страхе. Моя опора была лежа на полу. Мое время несоразмерно с внешним. Всё, что происходит вокруг мелкая суета. Есть ощущения что есть что то сверху. Когда все собрались вокруг меня, я не поверила этой счастливой картинки, я чувствую к ним недоверие, поэтому не хочу это видеть . Контакт с Чувствами. Я прослезилась и укуталась, касаясь Чувств. Но в конце пошло что-то не так и перебило это ощущение соединение и доверия.

Мне было все равно что вокруг. Когда почувствовала движение Эволюции, тогда появилось желание взаимодействовать с Человеком и Землей во благо. Давление почувствовала от Алгоритма, у меня был страх посмотреть кто это, но при этом немного хотела познать что это - власть и сила. Хотелось держаться рядом, но не касаться.

Дотронулась до страх и человека, так как это и есть я, с ними взаимосвязана. Дальше меня удивили действия Человека, то что Человек вышел из всей системы. Когда он вернулся, мне захотелось гладить по голове и успокаивать Человека, посетило ощущение материнства и стремление успокоить.

Я здесь, и я буду здесь. Человек вышел, попытался уйти, но он вернулся ко мне.
Insights from Observers
The mapping processes were observed by 8 people.
So we can notice those processes that are not visible from inside the system. Observers were asked questions:
- where did you notice changes in the system,
- where did you see a shift,
- what is the potential and bottlenecks?
- Observer 1When Man left Feelings and Evolution, their hands did not close. Without a Man there is neither one nor the other.
- Observer 2I saw the Man cry, I understood this pain, because he caused a lot of harm to the Earth.
- Observer 3When the Man logged out of the system, I thought: “Was that even possible?” He created all this, influenced it, and then abandoned the process and left.
- Observer 4The Algorithm is out of this world. For me, this is about Living things in general, not just about Technology.
- Observer 5Evolution came and touched the Feelings, then consciousness began to emerge in Man.
- Observer 6The Algorithm is the top level; it sets the rules of this simulation for all participants. These rules exist, but they are not visible.
- Observer 7An Algorithm is something we don't know.
- Observer 8I don’t believe in the beautiful picture that has emerged from Man, Feelings, Fear, Evolution and Technology around the Earth. The feeling that everyone was waiting for this, but they didn’t notice something, for example, the Algorithm towering above everyone.
